Push notifications on the mobile app
There’s no setting to find or toggle on — a signed-in device registers itself for push alerts automatically.
Registration is automatic
Once you’re signed in and online, KeepSpec asks for notification permission (the normal OS prompt) and registers the device in the background. If the prompt is declined, or you’re on a simulator rather than a real phone or tablet, the app keeps working normally — recording checks never depends on push being set up.
Who a given alert reaches
KeepSpec sends to whichever operators are assigned to the machine the alert is about. If a machine has no assigned operators, or none of them have a registered device, it falls back to notifying every registered device in the organization, so an alert is never sent nowhere.
Tapping a notification
Opens the app directly on the machine the alert concerns — no need to navigate there yourself from Sites.
