Editing or deleting a check
A mistyped reading or a check logged against the wrong machine can be corrected from the web console. This is a web-only capability — the mobile app has no edit or delete option for a check once it’s saved, by design, so a technician on the floor can’t accidentally lose a reading mid-shift.
Where to find it
Every row in a check history table has Edit and Delete links on the right. Edit reopens the same form used to record a check, pre-filled with that check’s values; saving updates it in place. Delete asks you to confirm before removing the row permanently.
Worth knowing before you delete
Deleting a check removes it outright — there’s no undo or recovery from the console. If you’re unsure, Edit is the safer move for fixing a wrong value; reach for Delete only for a check that genuinely shouldn’t exist, like a duplicate or one logged against the wrong machine entirely.
